This completely natural Neyshabur turquoise shows a bright sky-blue to aqua body color broken up by a dense golden-brown matrix web, with dark flecks and small blue patches that run right to the edges of the stone.
Cut as a polished teardrop cabochon measuring 9 × 17 mm with an approximate thickness of 5 mm and weighing 0.97 g (about 4.85 carats), it has a smooth polished face and a flat profile suited to pendants and rings.
